What is the x and y intercepts and how do you find it. Dealing with Slope 2x-4y=10

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

To find your x intercept, you want to know where the line CUTS the x - axis This means the x-intercept would when y = 0 So simply substitute y = 0 into your equation " 2x - 4y = 10 " Then solve for x

OpenStudy (ajspeller):

To find the x intercept set the y value to 0. To find the y intercept set the x value to 0. The equation is already in standard form Ax+By=C so, to find the slope the expression is -(A/B).

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

@ajspeller She's only asking how to find the x and y intercepts :)
