Why are invasive species dangerous to the environment? They pollute the environment. They are always predators. They threaten biodiversity. They bring abiotic factors.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

A. Is the answer.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Medal and fan?! Thx

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

@Tuta The invasive species that are bad for the environment are usually non-native invasive species. These plants colonize habitats, and exclude the native plants and animals. Since they decrease native biodiversity, they are bad for the environment.

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

Your answer would thus be C and not A. :)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yep, @butterflydreamer is correct. Read this for more clarification. :-) http://www.env.gov.yk.ca/animals-habitat/invasivespecies.php
