WILL MEDAL AND FAN!! Please help Which two features indicate that a cell is an animal cell and not a plant cell? A. mitochondria, chloroplasts B. ribosomes, cell wall C. cilia, lysosomes D. central vacuole, ribosomes

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

B. Is the answer.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Medal and fan?! Thx

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

It's not B... Plant cells have cell walls, chloroplasts. I found a table that can help you @oOMeyowzOo http://www.diffen.com/difference/Animal_Cell_vs_Plant_Cell :) !

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

I thought for sure it was B.

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Sorry..

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

Hahaha it's okay! If the question asked for plant cells instead of animal cells, then your answer would've been correct :)

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Your cute. Thanks anyway!

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

LOL you're welcomeee! @ElonaSushchik @oOMeyowzOo If you look at the table, i suggest you look at cilia and lysosomes !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, guys! ^^ I really appreciate it.

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

No worries :D

OpenStudy (elonasushchik):

Yes . Yw!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is b

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

it is NOT b...... like seriously. (pretty positive it is C) Read the question carefully. It asks what two features indicated it IS an animal cell NOT a plant cell. If the CELL has cilia and lysosomes, it would be an animal cell. Therefore C is the answer. If the cell had a cell wall and ribosomes, it would be a plant cell. Question asks for features of an ANIMAL CELL not a plant cell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

zachary01 asked the same question and he got b as the anser

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

I'm 99% sure it's C but... maybe we should ask someone else as well?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

@pooja195 Can you confirm whether it is b or c?? I am set on C but.. apparently people are saying it's b?? :( help please xD

pooja195 (pooja195):

im going with B all plant cells have ribsomes and a cell wall I would confirm its B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

the question wants you to identify an unknown cell that would be an animal cell. Not sure if my english is retarded or i can't read xD The question clearly states NOT a plant cell. So you want to see what the cell HAS that is in ANIMAL cells but NOT plant cells. True? Now i'm lost ..

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

http://www.diffen.com/difference/Animal_Cell_vs_Plant_Cell if you look at the comparative table. It says that animal and plant cells have ribosomes so.... that would be incorrect

pooja195 (pooja195):

in that case its C so you would be correct
