predicate adjective

OpenStudy (superflytyguy):

No they're wrong. It's an adjective. Adjectives describe things and give them a clearer picture. I ate a cheese pizza. Not a pepperoni, not a 3 Meat Lovers, a CHEESE pizza. You see what I'm sayin'? What do we know about these uniforms? Psst, well they are expensive! I'll tell ya that much! We know they ain't cheap, they are expensive! This gives us a better description of the uniforms. THAT is why it is D.
