So I'm freaking out cause I can't get this problem and its due tomorrow! 1. The weight of a bucket of golf balls is a function of the number of balls, each of which weighs 1.6 oz. The bucket itself weighs 2 lbs. Okay so I need the function, and I also need the graph I understand you can't show me that but can you tell me what to put on it? like what is on the y axis and what is on the x axis? PLEASE I NEED THE HELP!

OpenStudy (ajspeller):

f(x) = 2 + 1.6x x = the number of golf balls y = 1.6x + 2 1.6 is the slope 2 is the y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much! but I have a follow up question so on the graph would 1.6 match up to the x axis of 2?

OpenStudy (ajspeller):

On the y-axis at position (0,2) place a dot.
