Can I get some opinions on why gay marriage should or shouldn't be legal? I'm writing an argument essay and need a lot of arguments. Anything helps.

I think it should be legal. Love is love, and the government shouldn't dictate who it is. It seems a bit totalitarian to me.

i think it should be legal because first of all its human rights. If we cant legalize (SAME SEX) marriage then we are still dont agree with the human rights that we have. So basically No Human Rights = no equality. Lets ask ourselves why people come from all over the world just to the UNITED STATES ???? yup its because we have EQUALITY and if we don't legalize same sex marriage then we are not equal to everyone else
