Points A(-2, 4), B(1, 3), C(4, -1) and D form a parallelogram. What are the coordinates of D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (danjs):

plot those 3 points on a coordinate plane. Remember a couple properties of parallelogram,: opposite sides are equal in length and parallel to each other, opposite angles are the same measure.

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i got that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get how it would connect

OpenStudy (danjs):

(1,3) to (-2,4) is 3 to the left and 1 up do the same starting at (4,-1)

OpenStudy (danjs):

you can do that because it is a parallelogram and (1,3) to (-2,4) is parallel to (4,-1) to (missing point)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1,-2
