Should we only be allowed to report another user when we have verified our account?

I believe it would reduce false suspensions, making it to where a user can't make 5 accounts to report 1 user to get them community suspended

Hmm. So true! If we make sure that people verify accounts before reporting then it would stop community suspensions. And also making emails for those accounts. I'm pretty sure Google won't let you make more than like a bunch of emails a day.

One of the best ideas my friend (@sammixboo ) thought about.

People can easily report with a fake account and then ditch the account.

I am against this, mainly because what if a unverified user is harassed? The logic is they cannot report the harasser, that is a bad idea.

Then I guess they should verify the email fast. New users don't usually get harassed. @Algorithmic

@confluxepic sometimes the messaging systems gets jammed and does not output verification e-mails. Not to mention, you said usually, so it still happens. Why risk it?

No they would be able to be reported any way :P iwas saying that users can't report people until their account gets verified, making it harder for trolls to suspend a person

Hmmm. Well at any case they should first fix the email verification because after like 3 times you are forced to verifiy your email. And that might discourage users to come abck since they don't get any email..
