Could someone please answer this please !??? 1.George tells you that when variables are in the denominator, the equation becomes unsolvable. "There is a value for x that makes the denominator zero, and you can't divide by zero," George explains. Using complete sentences, demonstrate to George how the equation is still solvable. Okay, here is a simple example 1 x−1 looking at the equation the denominator will be zero when x = 1 and as stated in the question dividing by zero is undefined. What you do is restrict the domain, or the x values that you can use. I this example you say you can input all real x values, except x = 1 that means you can solve it or graph it but the restriction will cause a gap. Hope it makes sense!
omg thanks so much ! do you think you could do 2 more ?? ill return with a medal !
When looking at a rational function, Charles and Bobby have two different thoughts. Charles says that the function is defined at x = –2, x = 3, and x = 5. Bobby says that the function is undefined at those x values. Describe a situation where Charles is correct, and describe a situation where Bobby is correct. Is it possible for a situation to exist where they are both correct? Justify your reasoning. (10 points) Shawn and Ellie are construction workers. Shawn can complete a concrete job in 4 hours, while Ellie can complete it in 6 hours. The foreman says that it will take them 5 hours to complete it if they work together. Explain each step in solving this equation, and determine if the foreman is correct or not. (10 points) @Colere252346
