Discussion question: Why was the Industrial Revolution called a revolution? How did the Industrial Revolution change people's lives? Be sure to give specific examples as support for you answer. The second question I can answer, but I am not entirely sure on the first... anyone else know?

The Industrial Revolution changed the nation. It built more factories, created more jobs, created more technological advances. The negatives of the Industrial Revolution was that there was much environmental damage due to pollution, child labor was introduced, and there was extremely dangerous working conditions.
