When an unexpected events occurs within the plot structure, it is called... a. tragic irony b. verbal irony c. dramatic irony d. situational irony **I think it is D**
@confluxepic
situational irony
its D
because situational irony is when a reversal happens and a reversal is when an unexpected events occurs within the plot structure

Oh. And D is incorrect. @ayyookyndall Have you tried researching the definitions.
Yes. I was either going for C or D... I definitely know its not A or B @confluxepic
I am thinking that your other option is also wrong.

Dramatic irony is when the reader knows more than the main character.
So in the story the main character is going to drink water which has poison in it. But the main character does not know. Instead the author showed you it by context clues.
Okay. So it would be tragic irony... @confluxepic
Why is it not situational irony? @confluxepic
Tragic irony is dramatic irony in tragic drama.
So it is situational irony. Verbal irony is saying something and it doesnt happen. @confluxepic
You are correct. I just said it was wrong so you understand it all to the end.
Haha thank you ! :) @confluxepic
