Yes, 14 units. If you don't want to count them, you can take the absolute value of the differnce of the coordinates. abs( -6 - 8) = abs (-14) = 14

@DNTU4GETBOUTME To get the midpoint, take 1/2 of 14 and add what you get to the left endpoint of -6.
