You are told that he SUM of the number of goldfish (y) and the number of angelfish (x) is 360

so you can easily write one of the equatios:
sum of the 2 numbers = 360

You are also told that y (goldfish) is 8 TIMES x(angelfish)

so the other equation is

one number = 8 times the other
