The wall at the front entrance to the rock and roll of fame and museum in Cleveland Ohio is an isosceles triangle the triangle has a vertex angle of 102. what is the measure of base angles.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Okay, I'm guessing that 'x' and 'y'(the base angles) are the same. 102 degrees is the measure of one of the angles, and all three angles have to add up to 180 degrees. 180 - 102 = 78 So now we know that both of the base angles add up to 78 degrees. Remember we said that the base angles will be equal, so divide 78 by 2, what do you get? @monica10 |dw:1421238696806:dw|

39

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yep, so I believe that is the measure of each of the base angles.

thank you!

I'll post the other one in a different post.
