How do I find KP? Like I know you have to set things equal when doing this but they would just cross out... So what do I do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lawwwd dat pic tho XD :)

OpenStudy (radar):

The first thing I would do is clarify to the readers of your post, just what are you posting about. Let us see the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

post the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry there was one attached i just don't know where it went. hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@butterflydreamer u got this one XD

OpenStudy (radar):

The figure is a kite, note that the diagonals form right angles at their intersection. This being the case what do you know about sides JL and KL?

OpenStudy (radar):

The relationship between JL and KL will allow you to solve for x. When you have x, then you will know what KP is......as it is 7x + 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sides JL and KL are equal and they equal 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& x= 2

OpenStudy (radar):

Now that you have solved for x, compute the distance of KP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thank you so much! @radar

OpenStudy (radar):

No problem, good luck with your studies. The kite is a special trapezoid. For my own curositu what did you get for KP?

OpenStudy (radar):

*curosity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 24! @radar

OpenStudy (radar):

Thats good.
