how do i write a made up legend

think of a kind of base for your storyline. Like what do you want the legend to be about? Then just make stuff up but kinda make it believable. Does that make any sense?

I suggest searching up and reading a few legends to get a grasp on the style. Something involving Greek myths would do nicely, like the myths of Athena, Pandora, Zeus, etc. Have fun with the topic and be flexible with your ideas!

You think up a story that you really do love and are willing to sit and write about it everyday until its perfect then send it to the publishes and let them see and show the world your magic. ;D
