Each letter represents a digit such that the three letters forms a three digit number. Find the digits that make the following statement true. ELF + ELF = FOOL So if you claim for the ELF that F = 3, then F = 3 on the FOOL part as well. Whatever number you pick for that letter is the same for the letter. Different letters are different numbers. Note you are thinking of this like ELF would be 123 (one hundred twenty three) such that if you did ELF = 123 then there would be some number where 123+123 = 3 _ _ 2 (thousand digit number).
