Help please .. Identify the tense of the underlined verb. He had been studying drums, but he is happier playing guitar past progressive present progressive past perfect progressive present perfect progressive

I assume the underlined verbs are studying and playing? If yes then the tense of the first is past perfect progressive (had been+participle) and the tense of the second is past progressive (ends in -ing)
