VECTOR PROBLEM! I need help with number 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (turingtest):

When you add two vectors \(\vec v_1\) and \(\vec v_2\), you draw the tail of \(\vec v_2\) starting from the point of \(\vec v_1\), like so|dw:1421324323134:dw|

OpenStudy (turingtest):

|dw:1421324448661:dw|

OpenStudy (turingtest):

when you subtract \(\vec v_2\) from \(\vec v_1\) you draw the tail of \(\vec v_2\) starting from the tail of \(\vec v_1\)|dw:1421324554492:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but this one is colinear....then what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1421338653104:dw| you change the direction Vi since it is negative in the equation so the answer is option A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm, well the answer key says b is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i made a mistake in the first reply. I interchanged the Vi and the Vf this the correct diagram |dw:1421398839392:dw| option B is the correct answer
