what does “geography” mean in the literal sense? (1point ) A. the study of the human elements of earth B. to describe earth C. the study of the physical elements of earth D. none of the above
@iGreen
The word derives from Greek Ge - meaning "The Earth" Graphy - Writing So in the direct sense, the word means writing about the earth, but today we use it in a much broader sense. As for your question, when we've now figured that Geography means writing about the Earth, I would suggest that you go with option B: to describe Earth
@iGreen
Full Definition of GEOGRAPHY. 1 : a science that deals with the description, distribution, and interaction of the diverse physical, biological, and cultural features of the earth's surface.
Based on that what do you think the answer is?
@Iseeyouwhereyouhideat
would it be b or A ? @iGreen
A describes what geography is about..not the literal meaning..so A is incorrect.

By the way, @mikkel900 Please don't give answers.
