Why arnt there more moderators? How do you become one?
1) NEVER ASK TO BE MODERATOR <---very important rule 2) Be a very good HELPER 3) appeal to the public 4) have a very good sense of justice 5) you must have time for your loyal subjects 6) respect and suck up to the admins ;) Moderators are either members of the OpenStudy team (like myself) or community members who the team feels have the qualities of a good moderator based on how they interact with other community members. It's really not that glamorous, but if you really want to be a moderator the only way to get there is to become an active, helpful member of OpenStudy and hope you get lucky when we decide to add more moderators. :) This question is probably the most frequently asked in feedback. I hope this answer becomes more public to avoid repetition. The answer is simply that you act as a good user, and wait patiently for administration to notice and need your help. There is no application, and no moderator I know of has ever asked to become one.
That should help but its not my wording, I got it from other users that answered this question before
