The last three I didn't understand as well @sarahhmariee

@BunnyBree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. x + 15 = 8 -15 -15 x = -7 Number one is correct. (: 2. 15 – z = 6 -15 -15 -z = -9 z = 9 <-- This is the correct answer. 3. 6x = –42 6x/6 = –42/6 x = -7 You're correct! :D I think four and five may be missing some information.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh sorry

@BunnyBree

Question 4.4. What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (1, 3) and (5, –2)? A: 5/4 B: -5/4 C: 4/5 D: - 4/5 Question 5.5. What is the slope of a line parallel to the line whose equation is 5x + 3y = 15? A: -5/3 B: -3/5 C: 3/5 D: 5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is the missing information @BunnyBree :)

@MikeyMaximum Can you help me?

@surjithayer Can you please help me?

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

Do u still need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I do! @MikeyMaximum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you please help me? @MikeyMaximum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?? @MikeyMaximum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BunnyBree ??

OpenStudy (mikeymaximum):

Sorry but I'm busy, but I can help u look 4 some help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok @MikeyMaximum

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

1. correct 2. incorrect 3. correct 4. don't see an answer 5. don't see an answer 6. incorrect 7. incorrect 8. correct 9. correct 10. 11. 12. i will help on these 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, sorry! Was interrupted by other questions. xD Alright, so we need to use the slope formula for four. m = y2 - y1/x2 - x1 Plugging the points in and solving, we get -5/4. You were close with number four. :D Question 5: Parallel lines have the same slope. 5x + 3y = 15 is in standard form however, and it's easier to convert it to slope intercept form to find the slope. 5x + 3y = 15 - 5x -5x 3y = -5x + 15 3y/3 = -5x/3 + 15/3 y = -5/3x + 5 Slope is -5/3x. So, the answer is A.

OpenStudy (jordanthegirl):

There is nothing to solve on #5

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@iLorita , lets do #10 ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I put the questions for 4 and 5 @JordanTheGirl @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got that answer but I thought I was wrong xD @BunnyBree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Yes, but I don't see the answers for 4 and 5

OpenStudy (jordanthegirl):

Go back up see if you can see it.I cant.I wish I still had work like this.Now it is harder.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

So, what 10 is basically saying is that \(\sf\dfrac{82.5+94.7+87.9+x}{4}=90\) and we need to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Question 4.4. What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (1, 3) and (5, –2)? A: 5/4 B: -5/4 C: 4/5 D: - 4/5 @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 265.1x/4 right? @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer isn't I one of the choices @sleepyness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sleepyjess

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Sorry, the lag is bad today :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's fine lol @sleepyjess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you still help me? @sleepyjess
