How are DNA, RNA, and proteins related?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DNA thymine pairs with adenine but in rna uracil pairs with adenine so they are both made up of monomers called nuccleotides

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

DNA and RNA are nucleic acids. proteins are proteins..:) The DNA molecule is read by an enzyme called as Rna polymerase. It reads the genetic information and forms an RNA molecule. This Rna moleule then travels out of the nucleus. then there are small structures called ribosomes which read the information written on these RNA molecules and then form proteins by using this information.

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

do have any doubt or u got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DNA acts as the blue print for protein production. RNA's role is to act as a messenger carrying instructions from DNA for controlling the synthesis of proteins. To some this up, DNA genes are transcribed into RNA. And RNA is transcribed into proteins.
