Please help with one question. Will give medal + fan. (attached image below) My answer: A (the first one)
I would agree with you since "Roman art refers to the visual arts made in Ancient Rome and in the territories of the Roman Empire. Roman art includes architecture, painting, sculpture and mosaic work." Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_art
I'm still searching bout the greek art
Okay yeah that's basically what I have learned in my semester, thank you by the way for the help.
um no problem :D, I also found this "It appears that Roman artists had much Ancient Greek art to copy from, as trade in art was brisk throughout the empire, and much of the Greek artistic heritage found its way into Roman art through books and teaching... Many Roman artists came from Greek colonies and provinces." I'm not sure if bout the Christianity though, however they painted stuff like "the Last Supper?"
Okay thank you so much this information helps a ton!
Yea no problem! :]
In place of the nude, the figures of God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and the saints and martyrs of Christian tradition were elevated and became the dominant - indeed almost exclusive - focus of Byzantine art. <this is key!! :D
Thank you so much!!
