PLEASE HELP!!!! what is the probability of getting heads when flipping a coin and getting a number greater than or equal to 5 when rolling a single die. 1. 1/3 2. 1/6 3. 1/12 4. 1/4

OpenStudy (hennawho):

first u find the probability of the first one, which is 1/2 because u have the probability of getting 1 out of 2 sides of the coin. Then u find the one for the dice, which is 2/6, because 2 out of six of the sides are greater than or equal to 5. then u multiply 1/2 and 2/6, so the answer is 1/6
