OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Will fan & give medal? please help

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

OpenStudy (bibby):

I still have this triangle from last time. 2/5 use it

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Oh I already posted these?

OpenStudy (bibby):

once upon a time like 2 days ago or something

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

I still need help with the others q.q

OpenStudy (bibby):

this is the other reference triangle

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Okay I have answers for 1 & 2 1 being B 2 being C

OpenStudy (bibby):

for reference, when we discuss these right triangles, the 2 smaller sides (non-hypotenuse sides) are legs. so when 1 asks for the relationship between the longer and shorter leg they mean this: http://puu.sh/eA7dH.png where \(\sqrt3\) is obviously the longer leg

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Oh, I didn't understand the difference between the 3 and the 2, so it's D

OpenStudy (bibby):

if it were \(\sqrt3\) times the hypotenuse, the longer leg would be \(2\sqrt3\) it's \(\sqrt3\) times the shorter leg (which measures 1)

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

So, A? I thought the hypotenuse is longer?

OpenStudy (bibby):

re-read the question. it says the longer leg. in right triangles the hypotenuse isn't a leg. legs refer to the smaller 2 measurements

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

Ohhh okay

OpenStudy (bibby):

2 was right btw, clap clap clap

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

what's 3? I don't get this one? @bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

it's a 30-60-90 triangle. follow the identity. 8 is the hypotenuse (opposite the right angle) we want x, the side opposite the 30 degree angle

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

I think it's A :U

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

@bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

I'm so proud ;~;

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

<3 <3 @bibby

OpenStudy (bibby):

\(\huge\color{red}\heartsuit\) \(\huge\color{pink}\heartsuit\)

OpenStudy (nightmarenight):

I think 4 is A too? @bibby that one idk?

OpenStudy (bibby):

our identity triangle is|dw:1421385309764:dw|

OpenStudy (bibby):

the triangle we're dealing with is: |dw:1421385361237:dw| fill in the other 2 legs
