URGENT!! MEDAL AND FAN! What is the solution of the system of equations? Which ordered pair “works”? y = 3x + 7 y = x – 9 a. (–1, –10) b. (–17, –8) c. (4, 19) d. (–8, –17)

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Both equations are set equal to y so you could set 3x +7 and x - 9 equal to each other and solve for x. Once you know what x is, plug it's value into either of the original equations to solve for y. :)
