Find the integers

mathslover (mathslover):

First suppose the two integers are x and x+1 (as the two integers are consecutive - acc. to the question) It is given to you that product of these 2 consecutive integers is 19 more than their sum.

mathslover (mathslover):

Try to make a relation from this. You get: \(\color{red}{x(x+1)} = 19 + \color{blue}{x+(x+1)}\) The term in the red represents product of the consecutive integers. The term in the blue represents sum of the consecutive integers.

mathslover (mathslover):

You can solve for x now.

I actually ended up figuring it out. I was making it more difficult than it was lol
