How does arranging an equation in slope-intercept form help you determine which half-plane to shade?
do you need help?
Yes @shifuyanli yes thank you
okay let me look at the question :)
Sounds good! :)
There are a series of steps to accomplish in order to graph inequalities. Here are those steps. Graph the inequality as if it was an equation. Determine if the line or curve should be solid or dashed. Test a point off of the line or curve to determine if it is point within the shaded region. Shade the correct region. Use the examples below to help understand how these steps are accomplished. :)
My answer is this one correct me if I'm wrong! :) Substitute an ordered pair that is not on the boundary line into the inequality and see if it makes a true statement or a false statement. If it makes a true statement, shade the half-plane containing that point. Otherwise, shade half-plane that does not contain it. Is this the wrong answer? Please tell me. @shifuyanli
do you want the examples?
Oh yes please thank you. Please check my answer when you're done giving the examples k?
okay :)
Do you have the examples down yet?
no it won't let me do it
But I will tell you that your answer looks correct :)
That's okay. Is it on a PDF file? If so, press ctrl + C to copy it and then ctrl + V to paste it.
no it's on a different one
Could you medal it? Maybe since you said that my answer looks correct.
medal what?
Oh its okay @shifuyanli I think I get what you're saying
My answer silly!
okay.
haha I'm not sure about this stuff it has been a while
Okay. Thanks
