Solve using graphing, substituion, or elimination. The weekly profits of two different companies selling similair items that opened for business at the same time are modeled by the equations shown below. The profit is represented by y and the number of weeks the companies have been in business are represented by x. According to the projections in what weeks will the companies have the same profit. ? what were the profits of both companies during the week of equal profit? Company A: y=x^2-70x+3341 Company B: y=50x+65

@Jessielovesyou4998 this one :)
This is really hard. Basically what you have to do is continuously plug in numbers until you come up with the same number for both equations.
Do you know exactly which numbers i need to do that with?
I just tried picking random numbers and substituting them in for x
\(x^2-70x+3341=50x+65 \\x^2-120x+3276=0\) 234*14 is a relevant factor of 3276
wait never mind
we want 2 numbers that add up or subtract to 120, give me a second
idiot
stop
Idiot is a mean word XD
Okay thank you Bibby :) get off my post alyssa!
im sorry
Go to the chat is all im saying
it's ok she's my girlfriend I got (x-42)(x-78) I'm hoenstly not sure what I'm doing so I'm going to stop replying rofl
Omg Bibby!! XD
So this isnt the right answer. if you dont have the right answer dont write anything please
I agree
it's the proper factoring, I'm just not sure what to do next. get over yourself. a little humility and respect go a long way
Get over myself? Please do not tell me what to do. Was that respectful enough for you?
