Directions for the Project:
Here are the steps that you must follow in order to complete this assignment. 

Be sure to read all the steps before you begin.


• Form an architectural committee, which will be made up of yourself and one or two friends or family members. Before starting, you will need to brief your committee on the terminology and tools needed to complete the project. This will include explaining the different vocabulary terms covered throughout this module and demonstrating how to effectively use a protractor. 

• Select one of the floor plans from this link.  Floor Plans

• You and your committee will need to collaborate on the features you want to include in the front of your home, and make sure that it matches the floor plan that you selected.

• Complete the project plan in this link. Project Plan This will help you organize your thoughts. Fill out the project plan, except for the conclusion, prior to starting your design. This plan must be submitted to your instructor along with your front view design.

• On an 8½ x 11 sheet of paper, draw a front view design that matches the floor plan you selected using only your straight edge and protractor. Explain the process you used to create the front view design of your house. In your opinion is your design a construction or a drawing?  Why? 

• After completing your design, please submit the completed Project Plan AND your design for the front of the home you selected to your instructor.
