Does anyone know how the soldiers used to write to there loved ones, and how the letters were delivered in World War I? Also any background information on World War I would be great!

I had to write a letter once as if I was the wife of a solider, let me see if I remember the letter I had to reply to if not I hope someone else helps ya out and good luck!
