Lori makes $64,000 each year as an accountant. At Christmas she was given a 12% bonus. How much was her bonus? i will give medal and fan
do you know how to convert a percent into a decimal or a fraction
12% = 0.12 = 12/100
This year, with her Christmas bonus of 12% Lori has made $71,680! That is an increase of $7,680 from her usual salary of $64,000!
12% of 64,000 =
umm well @jagr2713 gave me legit answer so... i...
The bonus i assume is already included in the 64000
will give to @jagr2713
64000 * 0.12 = 7680 7680 of the 64000 was the bonus
she did not make 71680,
i think i am wrong. hold up
is there an answer choice
She made 64000 total including the bonus,
12 percent of 64000 is 7680 Her salary was $56320 Her bonus was $7680 ----------------------- Total income $64000
no there is no answer choice
It says how much "WAS" her bonus. Meaning the bonus is included in the 64000. If it said, how much would the bonus be, then you would add it to the 64000.
i disagree kinda
how? i see what dan is trying to say
Either way, the point is to understand how to figure the percent of a number, as long as you get that , you understand the problem
Great job Dan :D
