How do you solve sin^2x-tanxcos^2x=0 on the interval [0,2pi) ? so far I have 1-cos^2x-tanxcos^2x=0 but I'm stuck here. Any ideas on what I should do next?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

1. Replace tan with sin/cos. 2. Cancel cos 3. Factor out sin(x) 4. Set each factor equal to 0 5. Solve each equation.
