Can someone help me evaluate the gradient 1/5*e^((-x^2)/5 -(y^2)/5)<-2x, -2y> at point (3, -3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got up to this last step the same as my book. I am just not sure how thy are evaluating this at the point (3, -3), since book is giving answer as <sqrt(2)/2, sqrt(2)/2> which is in unit vector form.

It seems like there must be some identity being used with the power of e.
