two points charges of opposite sign and same magnitude 2.0*10^-7C are separated by a distance of 15cm.
a)find the magnitude and direction of the electric field strength E at the mid-point between the charges.
b)what is the magnitude and direction of the force on an electron placed at the mid-point?

E=kq/r^2 ,so the resultant will be as twice as from one and direction is going to -sign.
F=qE. ,but in the opposite direction as the electron is negatively charged.
