\[\huge\color{green}{cos^2x + \sin^2x = ????}\]
OpenStudy (lisa123):
Yes @Nnesha and then divided by the rest
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\color{purple}{{\rm cot^2}\rm x = ???}\]
change this also and then divide
Nnesha (nnesha):
cos^2x + sin^2 x = 1 right
so cot^2x = ??? can you tell me please :)
OpenStudy (lisa123):
Oh I only know cot^2(x) + 1 = csc^2(x). Would that be the same thing?

Nnesha (nnesha):
okay subtract one both side then what you get ??
OpenStudy (lisa123):
cot^2x=csc^2x-1
Nnesha (nnesha):
yes right so \[\huge\frac{ \cos^2x+\sin^2x }{ \cot^2x -\csc^2x }\]
\[\huge\frac{ 1 }{ \csc^2x-1-\csc^2x }\]
now solve this
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\color{blue}{{\rm csc^2x -}\rm \csc^2x = ???}\]
OpenStudy (lisa123):
1
