I have a question. im not very good at hooks for paragraphs. im writing and argumentative essay and i have to do my opening paragraph however i picked a quote for my hook.
picked this "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." By William Blake. when im putting this into the paragraph do i put who is the quote by or no ?

Yes, you might want to.
no.... not really @lilcathyx just put the quotation marks, this means its not your words but someone else's... it really doesn't sound good if you put "By William Blake" but if you want to put his name just put like one man named William Blake said "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend"
its really optional and which one sounds better in your writing ^-^
