Which is true if-else statements?

The if-else statement provides two blocks of code that will both be executed if its boolean expression is true.

The if-else statement tries its expression again if its boolean expression is false

The if-else statement is similar to the if statement in that it only executes code if its boolean expression is true

The if-else statement provides a way to execute code in case its boolean expression is false

I think it might be the third one.

I don't really "know" this I'm just guessing at this using my prior knowledge from a completely different programming language. And I only have a week to do the rest of my Java class so I'm trying to cram it all in and it's nice to have a second opinion.

You sure? I'm looking this http://www.tutorialspoint.com/java/java_decision_making.htm and it seems to me that it only executes the first code if the boolean is true but if it's false then it goes with the second line of code to execute.
