I recently picked up a few new programming books; one is an intro to xml, and another is an intro to css & html. Does anyone with experience in that field have a suggestion about which to start with?
If you want to learn about web programming, start with HTML and then CSS and then JavaScript and xml. After that, you might want to learn about some server side programming languages like, python, php or asp.net (MVC)
As suggested by the previous answer, it's difficult to give any advice if we don't know your goals.
At this point; I don't have a specific goal in mind. I'd say 'the ability to create websites' but I suppose that's a very broad topic... In which case I'll start with html/css and develop more specific goals along the way.
thanks for the answers
I suppose one side goal is the use of xml when doing android apps in the future... though the simple answer to that one is to learn xml lol.
I found this resource useful to learn tha bases: http://www.codecademy.com/
