Can you help me with this one? Find the slope of a line parallel to 3x+y=15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

options... -2/5 5 -3 1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get x+y=5 so is the answer 5?

Mehek (mehek14):

first rewrite the equation so it matches the origional equation y = mx + b m = slope b = y-intercept so when you rewrite it, it becomes y = -3x + 15 m(slope) = -3

uugghhh just when I think I have it. Thank you!!
