A colony of bacteria is growing exponentially according to the function below, where t is in hours. What will the approximate number of bacteria be after 8 hours? B(t)=4 *e^0.8t A. 4,289,241 B. 2407 C. 602 D. 205,968
That would be 4 x e^0.8 x 8, correct?
yes
Hmm, but it is about 71, and that is not a choice to your question... @acxbox22
these questions are really blah questions and I need help with em..
could you help me with them @DanJS or @ShadowLegendX Or @pooja195
or someone.. xD
no @AnswerMyQuestions when i put it inot google calculator i get 2407
Hmm...Not with me.
Can you show me exactly what you put in google?
This is what I typed in google: 4 x e^0.8 x 8
yeah hold on
And... It gave me 71.2173097118...
Ugh, google gave me the wrong order... :P
It gave me: 4 x (e^0.8) x 8
This is weird... I google 4 x e which gives me 10.8731273138. Then, I multiply 0.8 x 8, which gives me 6.4. then I do 10.8731273138^6.4 and it gives me 4292088.10885. @acxbox22
no you have to do 4e^(0.8 x 8) in that order
The answer is B Here is your answer. B(t)=4 *e^(0.8*8) http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=B%28t%29%3D4+*e%5E%280.8*8%29
