In your own words, explain how a barometer can be used to predict future weather conditions in a location.

Would this be a good answer? - "Barometers measure atmospheric pressure and changes in pressure usually mean changes in air temperature. Warm air is less dense than cool air and the interaction between the air temperatures can be the driving force in many types of precipitation. For example a thunderstorm starts with air being warmed and then rising to condense into clouds. As the water droplets get heavier from the rising moist air, they eventually drop causing rain."
