Why did the British argue against starting a second front in Europe?

If the Allies invaded France, the Germans would focus their efforts on defeating the Soviet Union.

The Allies did not have enough troops to fully support an attack on France.

The German troops were deeply embedded in Europe; the attack might not be successful.

An invasion in Europe could have caused the Soviet Union to form an alliance with Germany.

yes I think it is C. Cause i was doing some research and the germans had large numbers and very strong with their air force.
