A 3-pound bag of apples costs $1.50. At the same rate, what would be the cost of 7 pounds of apples?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.50 / 3 = .50 ..... this is how much it costs for one pound of apples then multiply 50 cent by 7 to get $3.50 ........... that is the overall cost for 7 lbs
