Need help improvising to make it active?
So passive voice is the use of any form of the verb "to Be" plus the passed participle of another verb. for ex. The ball was kicked by Tom. "was" is the verb to be and Kicked is the past participle. To make sentence using the passive voice active voice simple add to whom or to what at the end of the sentence. So you would say to yourself, The ball was kicked to whom or to what? the answer is Tom. Next take the answer, Tom, and make that the subject. So your active sentence would read, Tom kicked the ball. In your fourth paragraph you have a sentence using the passive voice, " Countries have been destroyed by these leaders, leaving people with no hope." So to change this to active voice, add to whom or to what after the past participle "destroyed". So you would say to yourself, Countries have been destroyed by whom or by what? The answer is leaders. The sentence could be changed to active voice as follows: These types of leaders have destroyed countries leaving people without hope. Hope this helps and good luck!!
