linear means that the angles will form a strait line. So you add the sides up and if they add up to 180 degrees, it will be linear. Like this |dw:1421762889275:dw| So ABC + BCD equals 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, unit 9. haha. what you have to do is find the pair of angles that TOGETHER make a straight line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but ABC AND BCD are not in anyof our choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They was just using an example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know, that's just an example. Which one out of your choices are like that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A i think maybe let me see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at answer C, if you trace the angles, does three of the points make a straight line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i was gonna say A or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so my last answer is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A, only makes a 90 degree angle, so it's C (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ima give medal @Olaf_Of_Arendelle because they explained first but ima open new one dont get mad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's fine! I don't mind (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
