Help!!! Explain the difference between a rate of change that is positive and one that is negative. Give a real-life example of each.

Rate of change is the same thing as slope.. Positive rate of change is a positive slope that increases..an example of this would be the miles driven as time goes by. Negative rate of change is a negative slope that decreases..an example of this would be the amount of gas left when time goes by.
