To find the probability of choosing any letter in the alphabet (at random) out of a book or other written source, would you use theoretical or experimental probability? WHY?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all, you should know what's the difference between theoretical and experimental probability. Theoretical is based on calculations while experimental is based on actual conducting/gathering of information. So what do you think you should use when choosing a random letter in the alphabet out of a book? Are you going to calculate the probabilities or is it easier to try doing it?
