The ellipse x^2+ 3y^2=13 has two points when x=-1. So I have to find the slope of the tangent line coming off of both of these points. Which are (-1,2) and (-1,-2 )

OpenStudy (surry99):

use implicit differentiation to find dy/dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How so? \

OpenStudy (surry99):

do you know what is is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(f(x+h)-f(x))/h... yes?

OpenStudy (surry99):
